Clicbitz Textile Arts and Technology Education Company was founded 10 years ago by Tracey Herriot, fashion designer, award-winning seamstress, 3D printing/tech specialist,

curriculum designer, and sustainability advocate. Clicbitz has taught nearly 5,000 kids and families across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. We offer in-person private lessons, after school programs, seasonal camps and free youth and family workshops at various library branches around San Diego County (check your local library or our website). Flat Patternmaking Class Series with Susan Suarez

Susan has worked as an industry patternmaker for apparel manufacturers for over 30 years. She has worked as an instructor for Private Fashion Design colleges and public community colleges. Susan is passionate about teaching flat patternmaking and loves to empower students as they learn about the techniques of creating new designs with the methods of, Dart Manipulation, Slash and Spread, working on the seamlines and cutting apart the block. 


Come explore this fascinating new world with Susan in a 4 week pattern class series.

Diana Cavagnaro

Diana has been teaching millinery for over 30 years, along with running a hat business, and writing a fashion column at San Diego Downtown News and La Jolla Village News.  The hat classes are at San Diego Mesa College.Each semester has a different 8 week class.  Check schedule for details on this 1 unit class and register at www.sdmesa.edu/West City College

Judy Stinton

Judy Stinton is a textile artist with a studio in San Diego’s Spanish Village Art Center. She produces award-winning hand dyed silk clothing that’s really wearable as well as jewelry and accessories. Her jewelry, which was featured in Sew News, has been described as colorful, flamboyant and elegant. As an author, teacher, artist, color & image consultant and designer, Judy’s career integrates many facets of her love for textiles.
